Vibraderm
Vibradermabrasion is a new non-particulate superficial abrasion (like microdermabrasion but without the aluminum crystals). This form of dermabrasion is clinically proven to effectively exfoliate and stimulate collagen production, thereby reducing fine lines, wrinkles and age spots, as well as improving acneiform eruptions. The procedure is performed with vibrating stainless steel paddles which gently yet effectively exfoliate the skin. Patients can generally expect a very painless procedure without significant down time, although some redness may be temporarily experienced.
Vibradermabrasion may also be used to treat keratosis pilaris. Keratosis pilaris (KP), which typically involves the back of the arms, upper thighs and cheeks, is characterized by fine bumps the size of grains of sand that can be skin colored or slightly red. Exfoliation with vibradermabrasion can help reduce the bumps and help to promote smoother skin.
Vibraderm treatments are only available at our Main Office in Marietta on Campbell Hill Street.
